About me
Denis Bacinschi
A general practitioner with a multidisciplinary background spanning medicine, nursing, nutrition and mindfulness. A broad, clinical perspective focused on prevention, healthy longevity, emotional wellbeing and performance.
My way of understanding medicine has been built from different perspectives on care. Before practising as a doctor, I worked for almost a decade as a nurse in settings such as hospital emergency departments, inpatient wards, the operating theatre and pre-hospital care.
That experience taught me to listen, to look at the person beyond an isolated result and to understand the importance of continuity of care. My later training in Nutrition, Mindfulness and Medicine broadened that perspective, allowing me to bring prevention, habits, diet, physical activity and emotional wellbeing together within a single clinical assessment.
Today my practice focuses on helping each person understand their health better, identify the factors that really matter and make realistic, evidence-based decisions. No miracle solutions, no unnecessary interventions: closeness, judgement and follow-up.

Medicine in Mallorca
Primary care physician at IB-Salut and collaborator at HINC and DEPORVIDAS, with a focus on comprehensive, personalised medicine, cardiovascular prevention, nutrition, exercise, performance and healthy longevity.

Universitat de les Illes Balears
Graduated in Medicine. Final-year dissertation on post-operative monitoring of microsurgical flaps using new technologies, research and participation in national and international conferences.

Clinical experience in nursing
Almost a decade of experience in hospital emergency departments, inpatient wards, the operating theatre, primary care, medical transport and post-surgical follow-up.
